The light microscope picture shows the presence of only red clones in the eye. The SEM picture shows disorganized ommatidia in the cell-lethal mutants. Also, a small glossy patch can be observed in the SEM picture. The orange/white mosaic eyes are observed for small clone analysis. These phenotypes have greatly expanded white clones, which supports the cell-lethal large clone observation. The small clone SEM picture shows a rough phentoype.
