Large Clone Phenotype Keyword(s): glossy,cell lethal

Phenotype Description: Red eyes are observed for large clone analysis. The mutant (orange) clones are glossy and appear white in some patches as indicated by the light microscope picture. SEM picture shows smaller eye from cell-lethality and disorganization of ommatida structure. Also,orange/white mosaic eyes are observed in small clone analysis. The phenotype is slightly rough and white clones are expanded. The homozygous mutant twin spot clones are difficult to visual due to little difference in orange colors.

Reversion to wild type eye by excision: Yes
