Genomic Insertion

Large Clone Phenotype Keyword(s): cell lethal

Phenotype Description: Red/no orange mosaic eyes are observed for large clone analysis. The mutant (orange) clones are cell lethal and are not seen in the light microscope picture. SEM picture shows smaller eye and ommatidia arranged in irregular array.Also, light orange/white mosaic eyes are observed in small clone analysis. The phenotype is slightly rough and white clones are greatly expanded. There appears to be no difference in orange colors.

Reversion to wild type eye by excision: No
